Next Dead-line: Now. Get it? Hilarious.
Idle isn’t even a word you would use to describe these people any more. Their bodies were idle, but now their heartbeat was idle. Their organs were idle. Their mind was idle. That’s right, the idle had finally reached a state of being so ridiculously idle, that they had ascended to the ultimate form of being idle – they were dead. This idle-based dead spread like a chain reaction to even those who had been significantly less idle, but still really really idle. They were dead, they were all dead.
“Oh hell nah,” the guard shouted when he realized he was on an island with a bunch of dead people. “I quit, this is ridiculous.” And in an instant, he had hopped into the ocean, presumably swimming somewhere that sure as hell wasn’t the initial island.
